The Little Flower Carriers Organization was inspired through prayer one night when a local Toledoan named Rose got the idea to send flowers to a Hospice patient anonymously on Christmas Eve..While praying, memories of her Father, who passed away in Hospice, came to mind...In the spirit of compassion that her Father taught her and out of love for Christ, she decided to act on this gesture...One thing led to another and a few months later she decided to start a small organization who would donate flowers to Hospice patients on a monthly basis...This effort would have never been possible if it were not for the friendship, partnership and support of Bernadette Opsahl, shop owner, of the local florist, Glass City Flowers.
Little Flower Carriers is dedicated to the memory of two special fathers; Bernadette's Father, Robert Joseph Gschaar, and Rose's Dad, Harold Ronald Dennis...
